Popular culture, and most conventional training programs, fixate on washboard abs and flat, toned tummies. Isolating the “abs” to the exclusion of the rest of the body, unfortunately, throws off the ability of your body to maintain balance and results in ineffective breathing patterns, postural distortion, weakness, and compromised joint integrity. Left unaddressed, this can result in chronic pain, fatigue and disease.

In this movement exploration series, we’ll explore static, dynamic and partner resisted movements to create effective breathing patterns, efficient movement, joint stabilization, enforce shock absorption and force transfer, and release tension.
